The A.L.P.S. Proximal Humerus Plating System is designed to provide intraoperative flexibility and efficiency to the surgical team and to minimise the risk of some of the complications commonly associated with treating proximal humerus fractures.
Designed to allow for greater range of motion, the Low Plate sits 2cm from the greater tuberosity. The High Plate sits 1cm from the greater tuberosity and offers two additional screw holes proximally to achieve direct screw fixation of the greater tuberosity fragment.
Optimal fixation achieved with tapered, triple lead locking and low profile non-locking screw options.
Facilitates fixed angle, fast, accurate drilling and assists with plate identification with pre-loaded F.A.S.T. Guide Inserts.
Using the ‘feet’ of the benders, the plates can be contoured to conform to the patient’s unique anatomic needs. Pre-contoured anterior plate curvature is designed for insertion, to reduce the possibility that a deltoid release will be necessary.
Using the medial calcar screw provides additional stability in the inferior medial cortex. Pegs with blunt tips minimise screw penetration of the articular surface.
