Rapid Recovery Shoulder
Using a CT scan, an initial surgical plan is provided, incorporating preferences and patient landmarks. Adjustments can be easily made based on a quick review. The software includes Zimmer Biomet's key shoulder arthroplasty systems - Comprehensive™ Total, Reverse, and Augmented options, as well as the Trabecular Metal Reverse Plus®(TMR+) System and Alliance™ Glenoid (Pure Planning only).
Adjustable attributes, based on presenting indications and surgical goals, include:
Backside contact and 3D measurement tools
Lateralisation reference points to assist in preserving glenoid bone
Quick changes from non-augmented to augmented components for maximum bone preservation
Ability to visualise inferior glenosphere offset to improve ROM
Central screw length visualisation
Once the surgical plan is approved by the submitting surgeon, guide creation begins and is provided for in-surgical use with several key supporting components:
Signature ONE Glenoid Guide for accurate pin placement
Patient glenoid bone model for visual confirmation throughout the procedure
Depth control arm to assist accurate glenoid depth reaming
The Signature ONE Guides are placed on the glenoid to guide initial pin placement without adding extra steps to the surgical procedure. A secondary superior pin is inserted for accurately controlled ream depth, which is crucial for achieving maximum bone preservation of the glenoid.
Better understand patient anatomy with high-quality 3D reconstruction and the ability to reproduce that plan to the patient.
Easy to use guides and software interface.
On-line access with any computer or iPad® along with a surgical technique that fits intuitively within existing techniques.
